Robert “Buck” Wood M.D. was born and raised in Sewanee, TN. Father was a math teacher, basketball coach and athletic director a military high school. Mother was a homemaker. Attended college at the University of the South, Sewanee, TN. Attended medical school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis from 1966-1969. Internship and residency at U.T. Memphis. Military service from 1971-1972 in Public Health Services at Pima Indian Reservation in Arizona. Family practice, board certified in Crossville, TN from 1973-2008.
Kenneth Chadwell is the Managing Partner of Looney, Looney & Chadwell PLLC. Mr. Chadwell focuses primarily on a broad range of real estate transactions including finance, acquisitions, and dispositions across numerous asset types including residential developments, multi-family, industrial and retail assets. Mr. Chadwell also represents banks and financial institutions with regard to compliance, lending, underwriting and other issues.
Mr. Chadwell attended Freed-Hardeman University, B.A, 1988; Harding School of Theology, M. Div., 1991; University of Tennessee, J.D., 1997
Mrs. Kim Herring is a senior specialist for the the National Institute For Excellence in Teaching. She spent the last 31 years in Cumberland County Schools. Her career included serving as the Administrator of Student Information and a high school Math teacher at Cumberland County High School. She also worked as a core coach member of the Tennessee Mathematics Standards Review Committee, member of the TDOE TN Item Review and Item Writer Committees, and a district and regional leader in mathematics and data.
She attended Tennessee Technology University, where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in curriculum and instruction.
Dr. Janet Brooker is a retired educator and administrator with over 34 years in the Cumberland County School System. Her career included serving as an English teacher and then vice principal at Cumberland County High School, principal at Pine View Elementary School, and principal at Stone Memorial High School. She served in the Central Office as a supervisor working with the attendance, drop out, and graduation rates.
She attended the University of Florida, Tennessee Tech, and holds an Ed.D. from the University of Tennessee.
Mike Dalton, who was born in Pontiac, Michigan, is the Owner/President of Durable Products, Inc., Crossville, He has been in business in Crossville for 25 years, providing their customers with custom-manufactured rubber and polyurethane products. A resident of Lake Tansi Village, Mike came to Crossville in 1965. Active in his community, Mike currently serves as the Financial Chairman for the Lake Tansi POA and is the former Chairman. He has been on the Board for Hilltoppers, Inc. for ten years. He has also served on the Chamber of Commerce board in the past.

Rebecca Farley earned a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Argosy University in 2011. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in 1999 and Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership in 2001, both from Tennessee Technological University.
Rebecca began her teaching career at North Cumberland Elementary where she taught seventh grade math for six years before becoming the Assistant Principal for one year. She served as Principal at Crab Orchard Elementary for ten years. Dr. Farley served as Supervisor of Instruction for grades 3-8 and Homeschool Coordinator for the 2016-2017 school year.
Beginning in the 2017-2018 school year, she was named Pre-K through 8 Supervisor of Instruction and Voluntary Pre-K (VPK) Director. She has served in that position until accepting the Chief Academic Officer position, which she currently holds.
